Jane S.(Pieniazek) Wondolowski, 95 of Shrewsbury, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Westborough. Her loving husband of seventy three years, Stanley A. Wondolowski passed away in August, 2015. Jane leaves two sons, Stanley R. Wondolowski and his wife Dorothy of Madison, NH and Thomas Wondolowski and his wife Laureen of Dudley, two daughters, Janice wife of Daniel Kaminski of Melbourne, FL and Diane wife of Richard Linkevich of Palm Harbor, FL, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grand-daughter, Kristen Linkevich, a brother, Walter Pieniazek and a sister Helen Matys. Jane was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John and Michalina (Gajzder) Pieniazek and moved to Shrewsbury in 1956.
Jane graduated from St. Mary's Elementary, Commerce High School, and Becker Junior College. Jane was a self employed accountant as well as having worked for Joseph B. Cohan & Associates, C.P.A. firm and Essem Packing Company of Worcester.
Jane was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church; The Guild of Our Lady of Czestochowa; St. Mary's 240 Club and the Polish American Veterans of World War II Auxiliary.
Above all, Jane focused her life on family, as a loving and totally devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A unique, outgoing and gentle woman, she is remembered warmly by all who knew her which include her most recent friends at Beaumont.
Jane enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and crafts in general.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Mass at Noon in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, MA 01610 or St. Mary's Parish, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
