Tribute & Message From The Family

Hedwig T. (Sienawski) Chesna, 90 of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Life Care Center of Auburn. She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, George Chesna. She also leaves a son Brian Chesna of Waterford, CT; daughter Pamela Murphy and her husband Michael of Auburn; grand-daughters, Sarah Medeiros and her husband Jonathan of Auburn, Jenna Murphy of Grafton and Hannah Murphy of Auburn; one great grandchild, Meryl Grace Medeiros; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Pauline Sienuc, Irene DeCiccio; and brothers, Andrew, Michael and Zigmunt Sienawski. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Adam and Julia (Kawecki) Sienawski.
Mrs. Chesna worked as a court clerk in Worcester Court retiring in 1990. She was a member of our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Hedy always had a smile and a story to share. She loved to entertain and enjoyed traveling, particularly to Aruba. Spending time with her family that she loved was her favorite past time.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Calling hours are private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. HENRY-DIRSA Funeral Home, 33 Ward St. is assisting the family with arrangements.

Words cannot express just how much my cioci Hedi was loved. From my childhood to the present day she has been a part of my life. So many memories. I know that cioci and my mom are sharing a cup of coffee and catching up. Gone but never forgotten. Love you to the moon and back. You will be missed.
